The self-driving car, using sensors and software, can also detect and interpret cyclists’ hand signals, Google says in a report released Tuesday. You can input text, send screenshots from your computer directly to your phone, and share clipboard text between the devices. Blippar’s visual search tool can recognize hundreds of millions of items, at least on a category level. Some of these items are simply recognized as ‘car’ or ‘trouser’, whereas other items can get hyper-specific, like flora and animals. To use it, users fire up the iOS or Android Blippar app and point their smartphone camera at the object of interest.
