LG has introduced a new app called VPInput which allows users to control their LG G4, G5 and V10 smartphones using Windows PC’s mouse and keyboard.The app will let you use your mouse and keyboard to remotely operate your phone. You can input text, send screenshots from your computer directly to your phone, and share clipboard text between the devices. HOW TO USE Install VPInput on your phone, an application that works over Bluetooth, which means that you won’t need to be connected to the internet in order to use it. You will also need to install the PC companion software (LG VPInput PC Program), but if the computer or laptop doesn’t support Bluetooth connectivity, you will need to buy an adapter. VPInput can be download from the Play Store and iTunes, but you should know that it’s incompatible for non-LG phones. However, if you’re intending to control your smartphone via a Windows PC, you should install VPInput PC Program on a computer or laptop running on at least Windows 7 OS.

Pilot, by Waverly Labs, is the first "smart earpiece" in the world, allowing for language translation in real time frame.  One look at Pilot and it’s not so hard to see why they achieved the goal, they called pilot “The World’s First Smart Earpiece”.  Pilot is a set of wireless earbuds that performs automatic language translation, the Pilot earbuds connect via Bluetooth to a smartphone app and the app does the translation in real time, passing the content to the listening party. The earbuds capture speech from one person  then sends that speech to the smartphone app. Once the app gets the content, it translates what was spoken and then sends the translated words to the other person’s earbuds. Blippar is the leading visual discovery app, harnessing augmented reality and image-recognition technology to bring the physical world to life through smartphones. Blippar’s visual search tool can recognize hundreds of millions of items, at least on a category level. Some of these items are simply recognized as ‘car’ or ‘trouser’, whereas other items can get hyper-specific, like flora and animals. To use it, users fire up the iOS or Android Blippar app and point their smartphone camera at the object of interest. The app then uses Blippar's "proprietary knowledge graph" to analyse the object's characteristics and suggest what that it might be — based on its previous performance of recognizing similar objects — and then offer additional useful information about it from the web. Blippar uses more than one hundred sources to give this information, but wouldn’t specify who it has partnered with on content.

LG Electronics launched its latest 5.7-inch smartphone on Wednesday called stylus 2 plus. which cost about $340 (roughly 100,000 Naira equivalent). The Stylus 2 Plus is equipped with a 1.4-gigahertz (GHz) octa-core processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon 430. Features 5.7-inch full high-definition (FHD) display. It has 3GB RAM and 32GB default storage space. It has 16MP rear and 8MP front cameras. The phone is powered by a 3000mAh battery and supports 4G connectivity. The LG Stylus 2 Plus is available in brown, titan, and gold color variants, It also comes with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, which is the latest platform, packing a wide range of features like power enhancements and Doze effect, among others.

New research by university of Texas shows that physicists may accelerate the creation of more advanced electronics and powerful computers. This was shown by investigating materials called topological insulators (materials which behaves as an insulators in its interior but as conductors on the exterior) "These materials are made of the same thing throughout, from the interior to the exterior, but, the interior does not conduct electrons — it’s an insulator — while the electrons on the surface are free to move around.
